Inanimate objects messing with you? Machines doing the opposite of what they're supposed to? Time speeding up when you're really short of it? And everything (and more) in the same day? Of course that must be the universe playing tricks on you to amuse itself watching your reactions! You try different methods of getting back in the saddle but nothing works. It's all been efficiency proved before being thrown out at you. You: a) get very angry b) laugh c) you write a song about it d) all of the above.
Just as complex as the answer to the irony of life can be was also the making of this song. It kept playing in my head for months and months, without me being able to make sense of how to express it - there was no melody, idea, chords or rhythmical form to start from.
Finally I took the chance and just played and sang the closest I could to what I felt it was. It turned up a groovy funny paranoid sweet frustration sort of entity.
Looking back on it, the whole situation and the result of it couldn't have made a better point:
The beautiful helplessness of human beings in their frantic race for control.
